The first half-hour of work is no charge whether it's a 150-250 word essay you'd like reviewed or a meeting to brainstorm essay ideas. An essay review includes reading the essay carefully, seeing what it needs, and giving initial edits and suggestions for improvement. Subsequently, I charge $60 an hour. Some students' drafts are in better shape than others, so the amount of time required depends on what the student gives me. I can give you an estimate if you'd like. If you already have a draft you would like reviewed, send me your essay via email to liza@essayandapp.com and I will do an initial review and offer suggestions. Please include your essay question, the college, and required word count. On the other hand, if you want to brainstorm ideas first, please call for an appointment.
